We have a "Common Problem"
This is one of THE MOST IMPORTANT Teachings that I’ve ever discovered to help us understand what is being Said and Required of Believers and Clergy to understand the Purpose of Scriptures; to become Approved Workmen, see 2 Tim 2:15, and "SEE" Ephesians 4:13 -14a come into FULL Stature as a Huios.
This is the blueprint for the Approved Workman (2 Tim 2:15), showing the "House to the house" so that the "Old Man" can be terminated and the "New Man" can take his seat.
The Path of the Workman
Counting the Cost: Character is cultivated through discipline and Selective study. Before building, one must sit down and count the cost to see if they have sufficient to finish (Luke 14:28).
Metanoia: True transformation begins with metanoia—a change of mind or revolution of mind. It is an awakening where one undergoes a momentary sense of the unreality of the world and its connection to himself.
"It is the glory of God to conceal a thing: but the honour of kings is to search out a matter." (Proverbs 25:2)
Consider the work of God: for who can make that straight, which he hath made crooked? (Ecclesiastes 7:13)
Start at the beginning and do not try to climb up some other way. You cannot take the Kingdom by force. John 10:1, Matthew 11:12
Rewards, Revelation, Epignosis, is for the diligent Seeker not the casual inquirer. Hebrews 11:6
If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons=Huios; for what Huios is he whom the father chasteneth not? (Hebrews 12:7 KJV)
Learn to Distinguish between things that Differ, Philippians 1:10 Literal translation
This framework offers three relevant applications for today:
Distinguishing Effort and discipline from Gift of grace: It prevents the frustration of trying to "force" experiences that can only be received.
Realistic Expectations: It clarifies that progress is not a constant state of ecstasy, but the building of stable character.
The Middle Path: It encourages working diligently as if everything depends on YOUR effort, while remaining open as if everything depends on grace.
NOTE: This perspective transforms spiritual practice from striving for distant achievement into the patient uncovering of what lies at the heart of present experience. It is a journey not of distance, but of depth; not of acquisition, but of recognition.
Which grade apprentice, journeyman or Master is authorized and certified to strip wires:
For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse: (Romans 1:20 KJV) This is so applicable to our Growth through the various categories, stations, of Growth and development. All three grades—
Apprentice, Journeyman, and Master Electrician—are authorized to strip wires, but the context of their authorization differs based on supervision requirements and experience levels.
Here is the breakdown of authorization for stripping wires (a foundational electrical task):
Apprentice Electrician: Authorized to strip wires, connect devices, and run conduit while under the direct supervision and guidance of a licensed journeyman or master electrician. They are not typically certified to work alone but learn this skill as a primary, daily task to build competency in connecting circuits.
Journeyman Electrician: Fully licensed, certified, and authorized to independently strip wires, install wiring, and complete terminations on electrical systems. They have completed their apprenticeship and passed a licensing exam, allowing them to work without direct, in-person supervision.
Master Electrician: Possesses the highest level of certification, authorized to perform all tasks a journeyman can, including stripping and installing wire, while also managing, designing, and supervising projects and other electricians.
Key Considerations:
Supervision: Apprentices must be supervised (often by a Journeyman or Master), while Journeymen and Masters do not require supervision.
Safety: While all can do it, using proper tools (strippers) to remove insulation without damaging the copper is a skill developed through experience.
*Why an Electrician?
What Wire‑Stripping Has to Do With Spiritual Maturity**
In electrical work, an apprentice learns one of the most delicate skills: stripping the insulation off a wire without “nicking” the wire itself.
If they cut too deep, the copper is damaged.
If they strip too little, the current cannot flow freely.
They practice this under the guidance of a Journeyman because precision protects both the integrity of the wire and the safety of everyone who will use the circuit.
This is the perfect picture of what happens when we study Scripture and the perennial wisdom behind it.
The “wire” represents the timeless, universal current of Truth—the emanation that existed long before any ethnicity, culture, or nation.
It is the perennial pattern that flows through:
Abrahamic traditions
Vedic and Upanishadic streams
Platonic and Philonic philosophy
The Desert Fathers
Christian esoteric tradition
and every authentic path of ascent
This Current is universal, impersonal, eternal, and not tied to any tribe, gender, language, or geography.
It is what Jesus called “the Spirit of Truth who will lead you into all truth.”
Every revelation arrives wrapped in the cultural insulation of its time:
language
metaphors
customs
symbolic frameworks
ethnic identity
gender roles
political conditions
ancient cosmologies
This insulation was necessary for the people of that time — it made the wire safe to handle.
But insulation is not the Current.
It simply encases it.
Not to Destroy — but to See Clearly**
When we “strip the insulation,” we are not removing the Jewishness of Scripture in any dismissive way, nor the Greekness, nor the first‑century world.
We are removing the veil so the universal pattern can be seen.
This is not subtraction.
This is revelation.
Just as Paul wrote:
“We, with unveiled face, behold…”
—2 Corinthians 3:18
You’re not rejecting the cultural wrapping.
You’re simply exposing the eternal structure beneath it.
Begins with the stories, symbols, and language as given — the insulation still fully on.
It’s safe.
It’s concrete.
It’s where everyone starts.
Learns to carefully remove cultural insulation without nicking the wire.
They recognize what is eternal and what is contextual.
Handles the bare wire — the pure Current — responsibly.
They can re‑insulate it in new language so others may safely receive it.
This corresponds to your Nepios → Technon → Huios progression from the Psalms of Ascent ladder.
The Greek word often translated “private” (G2398 — idios) means:
one’s own peculiar
pertaining to oneself alone
separate / apart
isolated without guidance
In modern English, it is the root of “idiomatic” and even “idiot” — someone locked in their own private bubble of interpretation.
The point is simple:
Nobody is meant to strip insulation without the Spirit’s guidance — or without oversight, just like an apprentice electrician
What has this Electrician have to do with stages of Spiritual Stature? No Scripture is of private interpretation, Greek word translated "private" is G2398, idos in Strong's Concordance. Meaning pertaining to self, one's own, separate, apart, when they were alone (without the Help of the Holy Spirit of Truth to Lead and Guide-mdw), this is also the root word for idiot, one's own peculiar, etc... The insulation on the wires you see in the images below represent the age-long cultural, ethnic biases, which eventually become Veils. When I remove cultural, ethnic, or gender-specific elements from a passage, I am not erasing its history or diminishing its beauty. I am simply stripping away the insulation so the eternal Current can be seen and understood.
The Current is not Jewish or Greek, male or female, ancient or modern. It is universal, perennial, and accessible to all, as they Qualify to handle the various Voltages.” Marion D. Williams Let a man so account of us, as of the ministers of Christ, and stewards of the mysteries of God, 1 Cor 4:1 KJV.

The Distinction of Jesus vs. Christ the Foundation vs. Completion
1. Jesus the Chief Cornerstone — Foundation is found around 1,000 times in the New Testament vs Christ with 500+ mentions. Note: The exact number depends on the translation, KJV, RV, ASV, Amplified, etc.
Jesus as Son of Man is the Author and Finisher of our faith as mankind, prepairing us for our ascension into the Kingdom of Heaven. Jesus as Son of God pre-pairs us for ascension into Christ and the Kingdom of God.
“Built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Christ Jesus himself as the chief cornerstone.” (Ephesians 2:20)
Architectural Insight: The cornerstone was the first stone laid, massive and squared, aligning the entire structure. Every other stone was measured against it.
Spiritual Insight: Jesus, the Son of Man, is this cornerstone. He is the foundation of our faith, the beginning of alignment, the measure of truth and righteousness.
Stage of Maturity:
From Nepios, to Teknion, to Teknon: Jesus brings us into sonship as children of God.
At this stage, we learn obedience, trust, and love. We are aligned to the foundation.
Chakra Correlation: The heart centre awakens here. It is the seat of compassion, alignment, and measure.
Evergreen Note (mdw): Too many teachings leap ahead to “Christ consciousness” while bypassing Jesus as the Chief Cornerstone. Ascension begins with Jesus. Without Him, there is no foundation, no alignment, no measure.
2. Christ the Capstone / Keystone — Completion
“…until we all attain to the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a full grown man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ.” (Ephesians 4:13)
Architectural Insight: The keystone is the wedge‑shaped stone at the top of an arch. It locks all stones into place, bearing the weight of the structure. The capstone is the final stone placed at the summit, completing the building.
Spiritual Insight: Christ is this keystone. He is universal, dissolving earthly distinctions: “There is neither Jew nor Greek, slave nor free, male nor female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.” (Galatians 3:28). Chirst is Many, I Cor 12:12
Stage of Maturity:
Huios (mature son): Christ brings us into full maturity, the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ. This is not childhood but completion.
NOTE: Huios is Strong's # 5207
Chakra Correlation: The crown centre blazes here. It is the seat of unity, universality, and completion.
Evergreen Note (mdw): Christ is not sentimental unity. It is radical crucifixion of the flesh (Galatians 5:24), the dissolution of pride, coveting, and division: polarity. Christ is the capstone of maturity.Jesus’ Fountain – The Living Source
Jesus’ Fountain – The Living Source
Greek word: pēgḗ (#4077) – a spring, a fountain, a source that flows upward.
Living Waters: Unlike the cistern, the fountain flows. It is not dug down into the earth but springs upward into everlasting life.
Transition of Worthiness: Jesus says the time is now when the Father seeks such to be deemed worthy (John 4:23–24). You use “worthy” instead of “worship,” because the Father Jesus refers to is not Jehovah, but the Spiritual Father who calls seekers into maturity.
Spiritual Ascent: To drink from this fountain is to move beyond tribal, and animal consciousness into causal life. It is the beginning of quickening—the shift to cooperating with the Spirit in the Ascension Process.
Evergreen Note (mdw): The fountain is not about endless study but about living participation. It is the Spirit’s gift, springing up within,
transforming thirst into fullness.
"Your Cross" is Dynamic
3. The Crucifixion of the Flesh — Moving from the Indivi-dual to the Path to Unity and Universalism
Galatians 5:24: “They who are of Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its susceptibilities and covetings.” NOTE: the phrase "have crucified" is G4717
stauroō From G4716; to impale on the cross; figuratively to extinguish (subdue) passion or selfishness: - crucify.
Cause of Unity: Crucifixion of the flesh removes pride, coveting, division.
Result of Unity: Galatians 3:28 — no earthly distinctions remain.
Other Scriptures:
Romans 6:6 — old self crucified, body of sin rendered powerless.
Galatians 2:20 — “I have been crucified with Christ…”
Colossians 3:5 — “Put to death whatever belongs to your earthly nature.”
Colossians 3:11 — “Christ is all, and is in all.”
1 Corinthians 12:13 — “We were all baptized by one Spirit into one body.”
Evergreen Note (mdw): Unity is not the absence of difference—it is the death of division. Christ is all, and in all.
4. Ascension Ladder — From Foundation to Completion
Jesus the Cornerstone: Foundation, nepios, teknion, teknon stage, heart centre.
Christ the Capstone: Completion, huios stage, crown centre: Huios.
Unity in Christ: Crucifixion of the flesh → dissolution of divisions/polarities → one body, one Spirit.
5. Evergreen Commentary (mdw)
Jesus is the Chief Cornerstone — the beginning, our Measure, the alignment, individuality.
Christ is the Capstone/Keystone — the completion, the unity, the universality.
Ascension is the journey from foundation to completion, from nepios, teknion, teknon to huios, from root to heart to crown.
Leaving Jacob’s Well is only the first step. Ascension Hill is about rising into maturity, built on the Foundation of Jesus, completed in the Christ.
This module now gives you two cornerstone teachings for Ascension Hill:
1. Leaving Jacob’s Well (tribal consciousness → living waters).
2. Jesus vs. Christ (foundation → completion, teknon → huios, heart → crown).
VERY IMPORTANT: when reading a scripture or especially a book that quotes scripture, always look and see who is speaking, the Foundation, the Chief Corner Stone, Jesus Son of Man, or the Capstone, the Keystone the Christ. Many times even Spiritually mature writers mix these important distinctions. Jesus was never referred to as Jesus Christ untill AFTER the Resurrection. Again, Christ is neither male nor female, no ethnicity, and is Many, see 1 Cor 12:12.
1. Jesushood 2. Christhood 3. Lordship - Each stage requires Fulfillment and we cannot climb up some other way or take the Kingdom by force.
The Eight Stations of Growth
Station 0: The Aspirant (The Multitudes)
The Status: An individual seeking to enter a program or profession but not yet formally hired.
The Scripture: Jesus spoke to the "great multitudes" regarding the cost of discipleship (Luke 14:25-33).
The Work: Sitting down first to count the cost.
Station 1: The Probationer (Nepios) – Water to the Ankles
Natural Age: Newborn babe; "not yet speaking," infant, simple-minded, or immature.
______________________________________________________________________________________________________________
Station 1: The Probationer (Nepios) – Water to the Ankles
Natural Age: Newborn babe; "not yet speaking," infant, simple-minded, or immature.
Characteristics: Carnally minded (1 Cor 3:1), tossed to and fro by every wind of doctrine (Eph 4:14), and unskilled in the word of righteousness (Heb 5:13).
The Milk: A nepios is not interested in analyzing the chemical contents of milk; they simply need the milk of the Word to grow.
The Law of Metanoia: At this stage, the "unlearning" process is vital; it is the beginning of the transformation of the mind.
___________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
Station 2: The Apprentice (Paidion) – Water to the Knees
The Prepared Person: To study the Word well, the person must be right and trained.
Natural Age: Young; "childling," immature, or lad.
Characteristics: This stage represents humility or being humbled. Jesus called His disciples Paidion (John 21:5).
The Work: Stripping the wire and removing the veils to prepare to terminate the "Genesis 2:7 man" in favor of the "Genesis 1:26 image."
___________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
Station 3: The Sophomore (Teknion)
The Status: A spiritual probationer and "Junior Apprentice".
The "Wise-Fool": Derived from Sophos (wise) and Moros (foolish), this is a stage of "sophomoric faith" where one has acquired some knowledge but lacks the humility of true wisdom.
Forgiveness: The Apostle John writes to this group because their "sins have been forgiven through His name" (1 John 2:12). They are urged to abide in Him and guard themselves from idols (1 John 2:28, 5:21).
_________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
Station 4: The Journeyman (Teknon) – Water to the Loins
Natural Age: 10-17 years; a child in the natural order with reproduction capacity.
The Yellow Ticket: As a "free agent," the Journeyman carries their "Yellow Ticket" (dues receipt) to prove they are in good standing.
Mobility: A Journeyman can "travel" and "drag up" (quit) if a job isn't right, signing "Book 2" in different cities to work.
The "Rat" Factor: Bypassing the "Books" or "Law of the Order" to solicit one's own work is seen as "ratty" behavior; the Books ensure no man is favored over another.
______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
Station 5: The Foreman
The Status: A supervisor and "Approved Workman" who manages the crew and enforces the design.
The Gatekeeper: They must understand the "entrances and exits" of the House (Ezekiel 43:11).
_______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
Station 6: The Master (Huios) – Waters to Swim In
The Status: A mature Son who has reached the "Full Stature" of Christ (Eph 4:13).
Characteristics: No longer a servant but an heir (Gal 4:1). At this level, all distinctions vanish—there is neither Jew nor Greek, male nor female, for all are one in Christ (Gal 3:25-28, Col 3:11).
The Eighth Day Sabbath: This stage leads to the place of forgiveness and rest within ourselves, called the Love of Christ, which passeth knowledge (Gnosis, #1108)
(Eph 3:19).
_______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________
Station 7: The Visionary (Pater)
The Status: A Father (Pater, #3962) who begets others through the Gospel (1 Cor 4:15).
The Threshold: "Afterward he brought me again unto the door of the house; and, behold, waters issued out from under the threshold of the house eastward: for the forefront of the house stood toward the east, and the waters came down from under from the right side of the house, at the south side of the altar" (Ezekiel 47:1 KJV).
The Discernment: The Visionary is able to discern the "Source" and the "Emanation(s) vs. Generation." This is a pasture meant for the mature.

The Mark of the High Calling
Our journey is not to know as much as we can know, but to be filled with all the fullness (Pleroma, #4138) of God. Let us be vigilant as we press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling (Phil 3:14).
Why Ezekiel Chapters 40-43 correspond to our Growth in Stature for the Perfecting of the Saints — Nepios toward Huios
Purpose
Present Ezekiel chapters 40–43 as a biblical architectural template that justifies staged spiritual formation: Nepios → Paidion → Teknion → Teknon → Huios. The pattern moves from outer boundaries, to inner structure, to priestly consecration, and finally to the return of glory and holy governance.
Ezekiel 40–43: Four Movements
Ezekiel 40 — Gates, Measurements, and the Outer Court
A man with a measuring reed shows Ezekiel the outer wall, the gates (east, north, south), guardrooms, and the outer court. Theme: entrance, boundaries, first measurements, and the initial separation unto holiness.
Ezekiel 41 — The Inner Temple: Holy Place and Most Holy Place
Detailed measurements of the sanctuary, including the Holy Place, the Most Holy Place, and surrounding rooms. Theme: inner formation and increasing nearness to God.
Ezekiel 42 — Priestly Chambers and Consecrated Spaces
Rooms for the priests, sacred garments, and offerings. Regulations protect what is holy from what is common. Theme: consecration and readiness for service.
Ezekiel 43 — The Glory Returns and the Law of the House
The glory of the Lord returns from the east. God declares, “This is the place of My throne.” Ezekiel is commanded to show the house to the house of Israel so that they may measure the pattern and align to it. The rule of the house is holiness.
Mapping to Stature Categories (Nepios → Huios)
1) Nepios — Outer Court (Ezekiel 40)
Profile: immature, unstable, needs clear boundaries.
Milestones:
• Submits to measurement and basic order.
• Learns the gates and the difference between holy and common.
• Establishes foundational practices that prevent drifting.
2) Paidion — Passing Through the Gates (Ezekiel 40)
Profile: teachable, humble, growing through repetition.
Milestones:
• Follows patterned instruction without wandering.
• Practices early obedience rhythms.
• Begins basic discernment of spaces and purposes in God’s house.
3) Teknion — “Little Children” Under Close Care
Profile: beloved but dependent; requires direct guidance and warning.
Milestones:
• Learns to abide in Christ and address sin quickly.
• Guards against deception and idols.
• Stabilizes affections; forms a simple daily rule of life.
4) Teknon — Inner Architecture and Priestly Readiness (Ezekiel 41–42)
Profile: sons and daughters under deeper formation and responsibility.
Milestones:
• Inner life “measured” in conscience and character, aligning with God’s pattern.
• Trains in consecration (purity, garments, offerings).
• Learns stewardship of holy things; ministers unto the Lord.
5) Huios — Glory, Holiness, and Governance (Ezekiel 43)
Profile: mature sonship fit for habitation and representation.
Milestones:
• Life aligned with the law of the house: holiness.
• Carries God’s presence responsibly.
• Able to “show the house to the house,” measuring the pattern for others and equipping the saints.
Why Ezekiel 40–43 Serves “For the Perfecting of the Saints”
These chapters provide a clear, biblical blueprint for staged growth—from outer boundaries to inner formation to glory. They validate the use of milestones and assessments (“measure the pattern”), explain why consecration precedes public function, and define maturity as the point where God’s glory can dwell and rule in a life.
Site-Ready Preface
Ascension Hill grounds its stature categories in Ezekiel 40–43, where God reveals His house in measured stages—from the outer court to the inner sanctuary—and then fills it with His glory. This progression explains our milestones from Nepios through Paidion, Teknion, and Teknon to Huios: boundaries established, inner life formed, priestly consecration embraced, and finally mature sonship able to “show the house to the house” and equip the saints into the fullness of Christ.
Next, let's leave the wandering to and fro station and start mapping our Journey with a Method and a Compass: Matthew 5:48 is True North and this is what Perfection looks like as a Journey and at the Finish line,: Journey is for the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, the Epignosis of the Huios, unto a perfect, G5046 telios man, unto the {measure-G3358-metron=Pasture, Boundary) of the stature of the fulness of Christ: That we henceforth be no more children [G3516 nepios] tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive; But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into Christ in all things, which is the head, [The Capstone] even [Christ G5547-The Anointing]: From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in [the measure-G3358-metron] of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love, Ephesians 4:12-16 KJV.
Let's start with a few Scriptures and we will explain as we go:
For [even the whole] creation (all nature) waits expectantly and longs earnestly for God's sons to be made known [waits for the revealing, the disclosing of their sonship], Rom 8:19 AMPLIFIED Translation. The Greek word translated "son" is #5207, Huios and is one of the most important words for us to Learn. It is the Goal of our Journey, Sonship at this Level: Huios-Stature.
Hebrews 6:1 THEREFORE LET us go on and get past the elementary stage in the teachings and doctrine of Christ, advancing steadily toward the completeness and [perfection] that belong to spiritual maturity.
We cannot rush the Process of Maturity.
We cannot climb up some other way, without making ourselves thieves and robbers, John 10:1.
Matthew 5:48 Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect. There are 94 references to the word perfect (Maturity) in the King Jimmie Bible and 11 references to the related word perfection; maybe we should pay ATTENTION to this important command of Jesus, or Yes?
Did you ever stop to consider that each "phase" of Spiritual Growth has a "Perfection-point, a Mark, a Goal.
Example, "When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a [ child - #3516-nepios ], I thought as a child: but when I became a [ man - #435 -aner ], I put away childish things,"1 Corinthians 13:11 KJV. Coming short of that Mark is "sin".
The Greek word translated sin literally means missing the mark.
How can we hit the mark, strive for that Mark if we have no idea what the Mark is at our current stage or phase of maturity.
“Perfection” in Strong’s Concordance is the translation of the Greek word # G5046-‘Telios’ = Maturity, Completion, limit, term, goal, purpose, and a few other definitive descriptors.
How does understanding this affect my personal bible study and growth to maturity as a Christian? Short answer is “a lot”.
For [even the whole] creation (all nature) waits expectantly and longs earnestly for God's sons to be made known [waits for the revealing, the disclosing of their sonship]. (Rom 8:19 AMPLIFIED Translation)
This understanding of the phases and stages of Christian Maturity is one of THE MOST IMPORTANT Teachings that I’ve ever discovered to help us understand what is being Said and Required of Believers and Clergy to correctly apply the Scriptures to our lives and affairs; to become Approved Workmen, see 2 Tim 2:15 And come into FULL Stature as a Huios, our Goal, "SEE" Ephesians 4:13.
When I insert the word "SEE" in caps and quotes, it is to encourage us to really take our time with a verse or a word. Maturity is not for the casual inquirer, it is for the diligent SEEKER: "But without faith it is impossible to [walk with God and] please Him, for whoever comes [near] to God must [necessarily] believe that God exists and that He rewards those who [earnestly and diligently] seek Him" Hebrews 11:6 AMPLIFIED
As you read thru this material a few times, bookmark this page and come back as often as you need to and it will continue to make more and more spiritual sense to you as you progress and grow in Stature.
ALSO NOTE: Our spiritual maturity or lack thereof has nothing to do with our physical, biological age. We can remain a child, a nepios or paidion until we seriously put our foot on the Path and commit the balance of our walk on the planet to seeking and finding the Mysteries of the Kingdom of God and applying Eternal Principles to our lives and affairs.
What are the various stages of Christian Growth to the Full Stature of Christ?
Christian growth and development is similar to human growth and development but is not automatic. Character is cultivated through discipline and adding to our faith virtue and knowledge that only comes as a result of our taking up our Cross as we mature and are able and willing, and continuing in His Word, becoming a Disciple of Jesus, and finally coming to a knowledge of the Truth that sets free the bondages as we continue the count the cost and pay the Price.
But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved, Matthew 24:13 KJV
One can also slip backward to an earlier stage: "For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost, And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come, If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame, Hebrews 6:4-6 KJV.
And there went great multitudes* with him: and he turned, and said unto them, If any man [ literally anyone ] come to me, and hate not
[ literally love less ] his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own [ life - #5590 - psuche ] also, he cannot be my disciple.
And whosoever doth not bear his cross, and come after me, cannot be my disciple. For which of you, intending to build a tower, sitteth not down first, and counteth the cost, whether he have sufficient to finish it? Lest haply, after he hath laid the foundation, and is not able to finish it, all that behold it begin to mock him, Saying, This man began to build, and was not able to finish. Or what king, going to make war against another king, sitteth not down first, and consulteth whether he be able with ten thousand to meet him that cometh against him with twenty thousand? Or else, while the other is yet a great way off, he sendeth an ambassage, and desireth conditions of peace. So likewise, whosoever he be of you that forsaketh not all that he hath, he cannot be my disciple, Luke 14:25-33 KJV.
NOTE: RE: "great multitudes, we will Learn to pay attention to exactly whom Jesus is speaking to so that we can better comprehend His Message. He typically spoke to various audiences: the 5,000, or multitudes, the 70, The 12, and the 3. Selah.
"Teachings must therefore be adapted to each mind and heart, Spiritual-Status, to which they are addressed."
The Thresholds
At each Level of Spirual Growth and Maturiy there is a Price to Pay BEFORE moving on. The Cross of Christ, now is "our Cross" it is Dynamic not Static.
Take Up Your Cross and Follow Jesus
Luk 9:23, 24 And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me. For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: but whosoever will lose his life for my sake, the same shall save it.
Nepios - Paidion
Let's start with a very applicable parable to our Spiritual Stages of Growth and Development toward our Goal of Full Stature as Huios, a Mature Son of man:
Afterward he brought me again unto the door of the house; and, behold, waters issued out from under the threshold of the house eastward: for the forefront of the house stood toward the east, and the waters came down from under from the right side of the house, at the south side of the altar.
Then brought he me out of the way of the gate northward, and led me about the way without unto the utter gate by the way that looketh eastward; and, behold, there ran out waters on the right side. And when the man that had the line in his hand went forth eastward, he measured a thousand cubits, and he brought me through the waters; the waters were to the ankles.
Again he measured a thousand, and brought me through the waters; the waters were to the knees. Again he measured a thousand, and brought me through; the waters were to the loins.
Afterward he measured a thousand; and it was a river that I could not pass over: for the waters were risen, waters to swim in, a river that could not be passed over. And he said unto me, Son of man, hast thou seen this? Then he brought me, and caused me to return to the brink of the river, Ezekiel 47:1-6 KJV.
Water to the Ankles
NEPIOS Child in the Natural 0-2 years (3516 Strong’s, “not speaking,” infant, simple-minded, immature) Carnally minded: Defining characteristic 1 Cor 3:1 But, Spiritually speaking one tossed to and fro by every wind of doctrine Ephesians 4:14 Unskilled in the Word of righteousness, Hebrews 5:13. One who as yet is still unable to exercise it's senses of discernment between that which is good and that which is evil, i.e. unfruitful.
Galatians 4:1 Now I say, That the heir, as long as he is a [child-#3516=nepios], differeth nothing from a servant, though he be lord of all…
Fun fact: Neither a Natural or Spiritual child, a nepios, is interested in understanding or analyzing the chemical contents of Milk; the milk of the Word. They just want and need the Word if indeed they have Spiritual Hunger and have truly been born Again, more accurately, reborn from Above. They cannot yet SEE the Kingdom. Jesus answered and said to him: “Truly, truly, I say to you, if anyone may not be born from above, he is not able to see the Kingdom of God”; John 3:3 Literal Standard Version.
The Greek word "again" in most translations, is actually: Strong's #509 anōthen pronounced an'-o-then
from above; by analogy from the first; by implication anew: - from above, again, from the beginning (very first), the top.
NOTE: if you will start paying closer attention to the up-ward Calling in Scripture from this point forward it will help your understanding.
PAIDION Little child in the Natural, 2-10 years (Strong's #3813, “childling,” immature, lad) Based on my 42 years on this Journey, this about where I notice "most" folk are living. They were most likely told that Jesus did it all for them. Just based on my experiences, most have no idea what it truly means to lose their life to find Life, even though that is what Jesus stated was His Mission, Eternal Life: The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. John 10:10(b) KJV.
Paidion's represent humility, or are BEING Humbled! Let's look deeper into the meaning of this stage of growth and maturing. again, Paidion is Strong's # 3813, but derived from a related word by Thayer’s/Strong’s Number: from dimin. of G3816, pais . Here comes some In-Sight for us: Thayer goes further, perhaps from G3817, paiō "A boy often beaten or a girl, specifically a slave or servant, a son a young man.

The Paidion-stage of Spiritual Growth and Maturity is absolutely Necessary for us, and remember, we cannot climb up some other way, John 10:1.
You will find this word translated a child, children in its plural and often as son. Don’t fail to distinguish which stage of Maturity is being discussed In other words, do take the time and trouble to look up each time you see the word son or child, children in your Strong’s Concordance to properly understand the audience. Learn to distinguish between "things" that differ, Phil 1:10 Literal version.
Now, we begin to move from the Personal to the Universal
What does it mean to move from the personal to the Universal? In Christ there is no distinction between gender or nationality.
However, Those that are Christ's have [already] crucified the(ir) flesh with the affections and lusts, Galatians 5:24 KJV.
It is our comprehension, our understanding of Spiritual Matters at a Higher, Deeper Level: "And have clothed yourselves with the new [spiritual self], which is [ever in the process of being] renewed and remolded into [fuller and more perfect knowledge upon] knowledge after the image (the likeness) of Him Who created it, Colossians 3:10 AMPLIFIED Classic translation. This verse contains another English word translated "men" this time from the Greek word #5046: teleios. Here is the Thayer definition of Teleios: 4b1) full grown, adult, of full age, mature, our Goal, our Mark, right, right.
We are making a Transition to a Higher Level, an Initiation , if you will.
"But after that faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster. For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus.

We understand, by now, that when we read the English word translated "man" it is usually Strong's #444, anthrophos and refers to "humans" male or female. We will look at the important variation of this later #435 Greek aner, also translated man but relating to "Husband" or one who is able to produce a Family. Water to the Loins, Ezekiel 47:4.
Are we starting to get a "feel" for what it means to come into a Universal Understanding of the overall Plan? The Cosmic aspect.
I would love to say at this point in Growth-Journey we could say that as a perfected paidion we have a complete comprehension of all this, but in my personal experience it takes a long time to assimilate what we Learn at each stage. The reason is simple, about two thirds of Learning is un-learning. Many are still dealing with the Dead letter of the word and the traditions of men that make Spiritual understanding of no affect. "Many aspire, but few attain."
But, let us move on if we're ready?
Teknion-a Probationer
Spiritually, the word "sophomore" relates to a stage of "sophomoric faith" or a similar phase of personal growth, where an individual has acquired some knowledge but lacks the humility and experience to have true wisdom. This concept is an extension of the word's etymological meaning. [1, 2]
Etymology and Core Meaning The word "sophomore" originates from a deliberate combination of two ancient Greek words:
• Sophos: Meaning "wise" or "clever".
• Moros: Meaning "foolish" or "dull" (the root of the modern English word "moron"). [3, 6]
Thus, a sophomore is a "wise fool" or a "learned fool". [4, 7]
Spiritual Interpretation This "wise fool" oxymoron is applied to a spiritual context in the following ways:
• Partial Knowledge vs. True Wisdom: A person in a "sophomoric" spiritual phase has gained some initial religious or theological knowledge (the "wisdom" part) but does not yet understand the full scope of their own ignorance. This can lead to a sense of superiority or arrogance about their knowledge.
• Lack of Humility: True spiritual wisdom, as suggested by biblical proverbs, often stems from humility and the acknowledgment of one's limitations. The "foolish" aspect highlights the need for painful experiences and failures to force a person to come to terms with how little they truly understand.
• Growth and Maturation: The "sophomoric" phase is considered a natural part of the growth and maturation process in faith and life. The spiritual goal is to grow beyond this stage by directing knowledge toward love and service to others, rather than using it for self-importance.
• Embracing Mystery: Some spiritual interpretations suggest that life is an ongoing journey of accepting the "moros" (foolishness) within our "sophos" (wisdom). True wisdom involves acknowledging that some aspects of life and the divine remain a mystery. [1, 2, 8, 9, 10]
In essence, the spiritual meaning of "sophomore" serves as a reminder that the acquisition of knowledge must be tempered by humility to achieve genuine wisdom and spiritual maturity.
That's a fascinating look at a specific Greek word in the New Testament! The word teknion and its use are quite telling.
Here is a breakdown of the scriptures containing the Greek word Strong's #5040 teknion, and how its meaning relates to the concept of the "know-it-all teenage sophomore."
Scriptures Containing the Word teknion
The word teknion, Strong's # 5040 is a diminutive form of teknon, #5043, which means "child." The diminutive ending makes it a term of endearment or tender affection, often translated as "little children" or "dear children." It appears eight times in the New Testament (in the vocative plural, or teknia), primarily used by the Apostle John.
John 13:33 Jesus to His disciples during the Last Supper: "Little children, I am with you a little while longer."
1 John 2:1 Apostle John to believers: "My little children, I am writing these things to you so that you may not sin."
1 John 2:12 Teknia Apostle John to believers: "I am writing to you, little children, because your sins have been forgiven through His name."
1 John 2:28 Apostle John to believers: "Now, little children, abide in Him, so that when He appears, we may have confidence..."
1 John 3:7 Teknia Apostle John to believers: "Little children, make sure no one deceives you..."
1 John 3:18 Apostle John to believers: "Little children, let us not love with word or with tongue, but in deed and truth."
1 John 4:4 Apostle John to believers: "You are from God, little children, and have overcome them; because greater is He who is in you..."
1 John 5:21 Apostle John to believers: "Little children, guard yourselves from idols."
Note: Some sources, particularly the King James Version, also include Galatians 4:19, though many modern critical texts prefer the non-diminutive
The Teknion Contrast: Spiritual Affection vs. Know-It-All Sophomores
The context of directly contrasts with the "know-it-all" attitude, particularly in terms of spiritual maturity.
1. The Meaning of Teknion
Affection and Intimacy: Teknion is a term of deep affection and endearment. It emphasizes the intimate relationship between the speaker (Jesus or the Apostle John) and the audience (the disciples or the believers). It conveys a sense of spiritual kinship and pastoral tenderness ("My dear ones").
Spiritual Dependence: While it signifies a loving relationship, the term "child" also implies dependence and immaturity in a relative sense. The teacher is the adult; the students are the children who still need instruction, warning, and guidance (as seen in the commands in 1 John).
2. The Spiritual "Know-It-All"
The "know-it-all teenage sophomore" attitude—characterized by a belief in one's own superior knowledge, a lack of teachability, and a resistance to authority—is the opposite of the disposition teknion implies:
Lack of Humility: The teknion is being affectionately taught and warned against sin, deception, and idols (1 John 2:1, 3:7, 5:21). This instruction requires humility and a teachable spirit to accept. The "sophomore" attitude, which assumes it already knows the answers, would reject this vital instruction.
Relational vs. Intellectual: John uses teknion to ground faith in relational assurance ("your sins have been forgiven," 1 John 2:12) and active love ("let us love... in action and truth," 1 John 3:18). Spiritual maturity is not defined by intellectual knowledge alone but by obedient love and moral conduct—precisely what the spiritually immature but intellectually arrogant person often lacks.
In summary, the use of teknion frames the believer as a beloved dependent who is safe in the family but still requires the tender, direct, and authoritative guidance of a spiritual parent to grow past true immaturity into maturity (often denoted in Greek by the word , meaning 'mature' or 'complete' [Source 3.2]). The "know-it-all" attitude would be a massive barrier to receiving the genuine spiritual growth intended by this tender address.

Water to the Knees - Waters to the Loins
Teknon In the Natural order a child 10-17 years (5043 Strong’s, son, daughter) Teknion (5040 Strong’s, “darlings”) Learn to mimic their heavenly Father Eph 5:1 Try to do righteousness and love their brethren 1 John 3:10. Actively seek their Lord: Defining characteristic John 13:33 Are commanded not to sin (learn to deal with sin and the world) 1 John 2:1 Are not to be deceived by others concerning lifestyle 1 John 3:7 Are told to abide in Jesus 1 John 2:28 Are told to love in deed and in truth 1 John 3:18 Are struggling to have Christ formed in their character Gal 4:19 Must keep themselves from idols 1 John 5:21
So then, the Spirit of [adoption #5206-huiothesía] himself, through whom someone is adopted as a son, bears witness and assures our spirit that we should be sons of God after we have gone from the spirit of slavery to the Spirit of adoption, when we no longer do anything out of fear, that is, out of fear of punishment, but instead, perfect everything on account of love of the Father. Rom 8:15 For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of [adoption-#5206 huiothesía]-, whereby we cry, Abba, Father.
Rom 8:16 The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the [children-#5043-teknon] of God:
Rom 8:17 And if [children-#5043-teknon], then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.
PLEASE NOTE: Notice the Greek word that is translated adoption, huiothesia? It is the Placing of a Son, #5207 a Huios, at the Appointed time of the Father: Galatians 4:1 Now I say, That the heir, as long as he is a [child-#3516-nepios], differeth nothing from a servant, though he be lord of all;
Galatians 4:2 But is under tutors and governors until the time appointed of the father.
We receive the Spirit of Adoption as teknons, It is what Develops us and Causes us to cry out to Abba to place us in the House as a Huios.
The MAJOR so-called sin is coming short of that Glory; missing the Mark.
Remember in the verse above, Hebrews 2:10, that the sons Jesus came to bring into/unto the Realm of Glory are at the Maturity-Level, the Level of Perfection, referred to as Huios. NOT nepios, paidion, or teknon. We cannot climb up some other way, please SEE John 10:1.

EXTREMELY Important Verse: Heb 2:10 For it became him, for whom are all things, and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons [son-#5207-huios] unto glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings.

Let's stop here and look at the word in this verse translated "man", #435 aner. A deeper look reveals the usage in the verse applies to a "husband", much different than the common word for man, #444 anthropos, mankind. Look at this with me: "Again he measured a thousand, and brought me through; the waters were to the loins, Ezekiel 47:4b KJV.
Waters to the ankles, then to the knees, now to the loins. Ankles, we are on The Path, water to the knees we are submitted the Journey of the Path that leads to Perfection. Waters to the loins, we now have the capacity to reproduce what we have Learned in other people's lives as SEED. Take some time with that analogy, if you will. Allow it to SOAK in.
Let us move forward.
(Eph 4:14) That we henceforth be no more [children-nepios-#3516], tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;
(Eph 4:15) But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ:
(Eph 4:16) From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love.
Here is some “Unsearchable” riches re: the status of a Huios - And Jesus answering said unto them, The children of this world marry, and are given in marriage: But they which shall be accounted worthy to obtain that world, and the resurrection from the dead, neither marry, nor are given in marriage: Neither can they die any more: for they are equal unto the angels; and are the children of God, being the [children-#5207=huios-mdw] of the resurrection, (Luk 20:34-36 KJV). Requirements for Maturity
1. Daily Bible reading with understanding and application: the Logos must become flesh, take ROOT in Good Ground in our lives to be effective and productive: That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love, Ephesians 3:17 KJV.
If any man has ears to hear, let him be listening and let him perceive and comprehend. And He said to them, Be careful what you are hearing. The measure [of thought and study] you give [to the truth you hear] will be the measure [of virtue and knowledge] that comes back to you--and more [besides] will be given to you who hear [and give thought and study to what they have heard-mdw].
For to him who has [followed this Instruction] will more [Virtue and Knowledge-mdw] be given; and from him who has not [given thought and Study to the Truth concerning the Mysteries of the Kingdom of God-mdw], even what he has [gleaned] will be taken away [by force], Mar 4:23-25 AMP Classic.
2. Meditation and pondering on the Scriptures: “Selah” in the Old Testament means STOP and ponder carefully and prayerfully what you just read or heard. Is it worth that much to us? To take it as the Living Word that actually Speaks to us, if we take it seriously
3. Daily quiet time of prayer and listening for the Holy Spirit’s Guidance and Inspiration: Rhema vs Logos. Strive to become and Approved Workman, 2 Timothy 2:15, correctly cutting and the Logos, Discerning the things that “differ”, Philippians 1:10 Literal Translation
4. Absolute Surrender to take up our Cross and deny ourselves, our flesh, lower self, #5590-psuche, daily as Required by Jesus Himself for all His followers.

LOOK at these verses carefully and you can see that unless the Ministers know this, they CANNOT help us into the Glory-Realm, the Ascension-Realm , the Full Stature that the Captain of Salvation paid such a Price for. That is a main reason that we end up with so many "stuck" in the nepios, paidion-stages of development. Or lack of development.
Eph 4: 8, 11-14 KJV
(8) Wherefore he saith, When he ascended up on high, he led captivity captive, and gave gifts unto men.
NOTE: It will be safe to state that the Greek word #1390, doma, translated "gifts" in Ephesians 4:8 is Special. Here's why, it is only used 4 times total in the N.T. and here these gifts are connected to Ascension and Full-Stature, which is the Goal, the Mark of our whole incarnation.
These gifts are for Ascending while on this planet, for Perfecting each stage of our Growth from neopios to Huios. Apostle, Prophet, Evangelist, the Shepherd, the Teacher, are Ascension Gifts to the Ekklesia, the Called-out ones.
Everything in the New Testament from John 3:3 to Revelation is about an upward Call. A Higher Calling, Above. Unless we are born form Above we cannot SEE the Kingdom. Each time you see the word Epignosis, #1922 simply translated "knowledge" to the casual reader, each time you see it think upward, Above, a Deeper Calling.
(11) And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;
(12) For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:
NOTE: Can you begin to SEE a Goal post at the end of each stage of our Growth Cycle? There is a Perfecting of the nepios stage. When I was a [child-#3516=nepios], I spoke and understood as a nepios, but when I "aged out", finished that part of the Course, was Perfected as a nepios, I proceeded to the Beginning of the next stage of my Journey on the Path. At the end of my Journey through the paidion stage of my Journey will be a Goal-Marker, Greek word telos, #5056, See Matt 24:13. Now, after fulfilling to the Full that Leg of my Training and discipline, as a Perfected paidion, I am ready and Equipped to begin, to Initiate my Journey to become a "teknon' #5043.
I cannot say for sure, but just as so many, Spiritually-speaking, are stuck at the nepios and or paidion-status of their Journey, this particular Leg accomplishing our Perfection as a teknon is the longest and most difficult section of our Journey. That is why all creation is waiting for teknons to Manifest as Huios!!! Romans 8:18-23.
(13) Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the [knowledge-#1922-epignosis] of the Son [HUIOS-#5207]of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ: (14). NOTE Again: the use of the word man, #435 aner, husband, actually perfect-man, equals SEED, children and fruit.
(So) That we henceforth be no more [children-#3516-nepios], tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;
Therefore leaving the (First, Elementary) principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto [perfection-#5047-teleiotēs]; KJV Hebrews 6:1(a) So then let us once for all quit the elementary teaching about Christ and continue progressing toward [maturity-#5047-teleiotēs]; Charles B. Williams Translation
But he that shall endure #5278 unto the end, #5056 the same shall be saved, Matthew 24:13 KJV+.
Just look at Thayer's definition of endure: hupomenō
Thayer Definition of the word translated endure:
1) to remain, 1a) to tarry behind, 2) to remain, i.e. abide, not recede or flee, 2a) to preserve: under misfortunes and trials to hold fast to one’s faith in Christ, 2b) to endure, bear bravely and calmly: ill treatments.
I mentioned the word translated "end" before, it is #5056. Do you have the energy for some yet Deeper In-Sight? I knew that you did!!
From Stong's G5056 telos pronounced tel'-os
From a primary word tellō (to set out for a definite point or goal); properly the point aimed at as a limit, that is, (by implication) the conclusion of an act or state (termination [literally, figuratively or indefinitely], result [immediate, ultimate or prophetic], purpose); specifically an impost or levy (as paid): - + continual, custom, end (-ing), finally, uttermost. Compare G5411.
Here is where it really get's more interesting to the SEEKER: (we lost the casual inquirer a long way back :-))
Remember, we are still looking further in the meaning of the Greek word telos translated "end" to see its origin and more comprehensive understanding of Matthew 24:13:
Comparing #5411 to #5056
Strong's # 5411 -phoros pronounced for'-os
From G5342; a load (as borne), that is, (figuratively) a tax (properly an individual assessment on persons or property; whereas G5056 is usually a general toll on goods or travel): - tribute.
We can understand why Jesus stated to the "multitudes" For which of you, intending to build a tower, sitteth not down first, and counteth the cost, whether he have sufficient to finish it? Luke 14:28 KJV
You may have Noticed that Jesus Ministered to various audiences with specific Messages for each: The 5,000 (multitudes), the 70, the 12, and the 3.
More to come
At each Level of Spiritual Growth and Maturity there is a Price to Pay BEFORE moving on. The Cross of Christ now is "our Cross" it is Dynamic not Static.
The Price is simply the Fullness that belongs to that particular stage of Maturity.
The word perfection is just a checkoff list that closes out the previous level.
Matthew 5:48 is the Goal, the Mark, where the Prize and Crown await us.
Jesus called his disciples PAIDION John 21:5 Receive and enter the Kingdom of God by simple trust Mark 10:15 Deficient in spiritual understanding, a defining characteristic of this stage of Growth and Maturing: "Brethren, be not children in understanding: howbeit in malice be ye children, but in understanding be men,1 Corinthians 14:20 KJV.
The context of directly contrasts with the "know-it-all" attitude, particularly in terms of spiritual maturity.
PLEASE NOTE: Notice the Greek word that is translated adoption, huiothesia? It is the Placing of a Son, #5207 a Huios, at the Appointed time of the Father: Galatians 4:1 Now I say, That the heir, as long as he is a [child-#3516-nepios], differeth nothing from a servant, though he be lord of all;
Galatians 4:2 But is under tutors and governors until the time appointed of the father.
We cannot climb up some other way, please SEE John 10:1.
...for the perfecting of the saints for the work of ministry, for the building up of the body of Christ, until we all arrive to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the [Son-#5207=Huios] of God, to a mature man, to the [measure-Metron] of the stature of the fullness of Christ; that we may no longer be infants, being tossed as by waves, and being carried about by every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, by craftiness in regard to deceitful scheming, but speaking the truth in love, we may grow up in all things into Him who is the head--Jesus Christ our Lord; from whom the whole body, being fitted and held together by what every joint supplies, according to the working of the [measure-metron] of each individual part, causes the growth of the body for the edification of itself in love.

EXTREMELY Important Verse: Heb 2:10 For it became him, for whom are all things, and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons [son-#5207-huios] unto glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings.
Huios are peacemakers Matthew 5:9 Huios Love their enemies and pray for their persecutors Matthew 5:44-45 Huios Learn obedience through suffering (putting off and mastering their "flesh") Heb 5:8 Huios are chastised/disciplined by the Lord Heb 12:5 Huios Live a separate lifestyle from unbelievers 2 Cor 6:14-18; [They live in Resurrected Life of Zoe-mdw].
(Eph 4:14) That we henceforth be no more [children-nepios-#3516], tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;
One translation says “the same as the angels. That is you at huios-stage. Marion D. Williams
5) PATER Father (3962 Strong’s, father) Has intimate knowledge of God (knows his ways) Not only gnosis, but epignosis: Epi in front of a Greek word means “Above” or "Over".

(11) And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;
(So) That we henceforth be no more [children-#3516-nepios], tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;
More to come.
